Port Blair, Aug 31: The Inter School Table Tennis and Yoga competition being organized by Directorate of Education concluded on Wednesday at Girls School Hall. In the first match in the Table Tennis event, SSS VKV defeated SSS.NCS in the U-17 (Girls) category and in the U-19 (Girls) division, GSSS Prothrapur defeated GSSS Girls.
The Director (Sports), Mr Ingit Pratap Singh and Smt. Sangeetha Chand, Principal, GSSS Girls were present on the occasion as the chief guest and guest of honour respectively and gave away prizes to the winners and runners up teams of Yoga and Table Tennis U-14,17 and 19 (Boys & Girls). Mr Saroop Lall, PET welcomed the gathering, while Mr Ganesh Chandra Biswas, Asst. Supervisor (Sports) proposed the vote of thanks.
