Port Blair, August 19: A team of Forest while patrolling, has rescued nearly five pigeons from various areas of Port Blair city.
As per reports, a team of forest Department while patrolling at Mazar Pahad this morning has seen two pigeon that got trapped in the glue, placed on tree branches by the poachers. The team immediately rescued them but unfortunately one Green Imperial Pigeon died during the rescue operation.
On 17th August also a team of Forest rescued nearly 4 Green Imperial Pigeons from the same place, it is learnt.
