Port Blair, Aug 10: The Andaman Sarvajanik Nirman Vibhaj Mazdoor Sangh will be organizing massive strike on the issue of granting 1/30 pay plus DA to the Daily Rated Mazdoors employed by APWD from today.
Although highly placed sources told Andaman Sheekha that the Administration might give an assurance in writing about accepting the demands within one month but the official communication has not reached to ASNVMS yet.
“We will conduct strike from morning but if we get any assurance in writing we will call off the strike,” said Mr. B Chandrachoodan, President of ASNVMS.
