Port Blair, May 24: BJP’s A & N State Unit today said in a press release that Mr. Tarun Vijay, BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP has informed the National President of BJP that neither he has praised the Lt. Governor of Andaman and Nicobar Islands nor has sent any such letter of appreciation to A & N Administration.
“Mr. Tarun Vijay has also conveyed the same information to the State President Mr. R Mohan. Tarun Vijay has forwarded us his statement made in Rajya Sabha. Mohan is surprised as to how the AN Administration can put it’s own words in the mouth of a Member of Parliament of Rajya Sabha by misusing the government machineries. If this being the case, how the people of these islands will believe any press release of the AN Administration and at the same time lose their faith also on any activities of the Administration. By spending crore of rupees of the poor tax payers on account of salary, TA DA etc, the Govt of India is sending their officials for smooth running of the AN Administration with a hope that they will devote their time for the betterment of the people and also for the development of these islands, but what is the outcome from the heavy weight officials of the Administration is a question,” a release of BJP said here today.
