Port Blair, Aug 5: Power supply will remain suspended in some areas on Aug 6 from 7 am to 5 pm for cutting of tree by APWD in front of Police station, Humfrygunj.
The areas to be affected by power disruption under Outer feeder are Maglutan, Wandoor and Humfrygunj. The above works will be carried out subject to weather condition and if the work completes earlier the feeder will be charged accordingly.
Similarly, power supply will also remain suspended at Airport, Lamba Line upto Hudco Colony and part of Ranchi Tekri on Aug 5 from 8 am to 12 noon for repair of underground power cable near Airport entrance gate.
In addition, the department will carry out maintenance work of Panther-I & Panther-II (main link line between IPP Bambooflat and Port Blair) on Aug 6. Due to this, if required, power supply will remain suspended on as and when required basis for about 45 minutes in Port Blair and South Andaman area between 7.30 am to 2 pm. The works will be carried out subject to weather condition.
