Havelock, Aug 08: At around 4.30 pm a tourist from Surat, Gujrat aged 19 years entered in the Radhanagar Beach of Havelock for swimming and went around 200 meters into the sea.
Suddenly it was noticed by one of the lifeguards that the tourist, Mr. Jval Patel, is struggling in the sea to return back to shore.
Life guards at the beach responded quickly and swung into action and saved the boy from drowning.
The joint efforts of life guards namely Arindam, Himanshu, Ashish, Arijit, Abhijit saved the life of the boy. The boy is recovering now and situation is under control. He along with his father, mother and sister is on tour to A & N Islands. They expressed gratitude to the lifeguards and Tourism office staff on Rescue Register at the Radhanagar beach.
