Port Blair, July 28: Power supply will remain suspended in some areas on July 30 from 8 am to 2 pm for carrying out maintenance of T&D System, IPP complex, replacement of damaged cable, H.T and L. T line clearance work and maintenance of T&D system. Removal of damaged trees by Forest Department at Padauk Baghicha, Mannarghat.
The areas to be affected by the power disruption under Hopetown feeder, Panel-V and Shoalbay-Ferrargunj feeder are Bambooflat to Hopetown, Bambooflat to Wimberlygunj, Wimberlygunj to Ferrargunj, Wimberlygunj to Shoalbay, Ferrargunj to Caddlegunj and Ferrargunj to Jirkatang. The above works will be carried out subject to weather condition and if the works completes earlier, the feeder will be charged accordingly.
Similarly, power will also be suspended from 8 am to 4 pm at Airport, Lamba Line upto Hudco Colony and part of Ranchi Tekri for carrying out repairing work of underground power cable near Airport entrance gate on July 30.
