Port Blair, July 27: Several dozens of people from all walks of life today gathered at Marina Park area of Port Blair city to offer prayers for the safe return of all the crew members of missing AN-32 Aircraft.
The event at Marina Park was organised by an Andaman based NGO Living on the Edge (LOTE) and social media group Digital Andaman.
Family members of Raghubir Verma, one of passengers of missing AN-32, an Islander, were also present during the prayer meeting.
“We are here to convey the family members of IAF’s Aircraft Man Raghubir Verma and all other people who were inside the Aircraft that we all people are equally upset and worried about the safety of them. Together we all today prayed for the safe return of everyone on that plane,” said Abhay Kumar, the Preside of LOTE.
From Raj Niwas the representative of Lt. Governor, Lt. Col Pankaj Thakur, Officer on Special Duty attended the prayer meeting, who also spoke to the family members of Raghubir Verma and assured them all possible help in this regard.
Meanwhile, on the sixth day of the search for missing AN-32 till now no news of spotting any debris of the Aircraft has been come.
