Port Blair, July 26: The Founder of Sudhangshubala Foundation Trust (SFT), Mr Bhabesh Majumder, has congratulated Kumar Sarthak Johnson Prasad, S/o Mr Deepak Johnson of Forest Department, a student of St. Mary’s School. He is currently pursuing studies in Class XI at Kota and simultaneously taking IIT coaching from ALLEN Coaching Centre at Rajasthan for qualifying the NTSE Stage 2 examination conducted by NCERT and becoming eligible for NTSE scholarship.
NCERT had conducted the 2nd level of National Talent Search Examination on May 8 and the results of which were announced on July 22. Altogether, 975 students from across the country qualified for the NTSE scholarship. Qualified students of class 11th and 12th will receive Rs 1250 monthly scholarship and those pursuing graduation will receive Rs 2000 per month. “Students of these islands are extraordinarily meritorious and if given proper guidance by the teachers and parents, they can shine in every fields and make these islands proud,” said Mr Majumder.
