Port Blair, July 20: The SDPO South Andaman, Mr. Ajay Rai today visited Bhatu Basti area with the SHO of PS Pahargaon, Mr. Jagadishwar Rao and vacated space infront of shops, which were illegally captured by various shop owners for display of commodities, which was inturn causing congestion of Bhatu Basti road.
Andaman Sheekha Correspondent witnessed that the police team took time to talk to large number of shop owners of the area for free some space in the region.
It has been learnt that same drive will continue in coming days also to keep Bhatu Basti area free from traffic.
