Port Blair, May 22: General body meeting of Swaraj Dal was called on 19 May at 3.30 pm at Prem Nagar by the Vice President Mr. V. Hemza, a founder member of Swaraj Dal to reconstitute the party, the members present in the general body proposed the name of the Vice President as the chairman of the party.
During the meeting Mr. P M Aboobaker was elected as President, Mr. V Hemza as Working President, Mr. Arvind Rai Sharma and Harish Anselm as General Secretary and Mr. K. Ibrahim was elected as Treasurer.
