Port Blair, July 15: In pursuance of the suggestions emerged in the workshop held at Port Blair recently for ‘Regulation of water sports activities in A&N Islands’, the Department of Tourism has drafted Andaman Nicobar Island Surface Water Sports Guidelines – 2016 and hosted in official website www.andaman.gov.in and also in tourism department website www.andamans.gov.in for inviting suggestions/objections/views from stake holders and general public/tourists with regard to the provision contained therein.
All the tourism stakeholders like boat operators, adventure water sports operators in A&N Islands are requested to kindly go through the draft guidelines and inform their comments/objections/suggestions if any to the Director(Tourism), A&N Administration, Port Blair in writing or by e-mail: thedirectortourism@gmail.com on or before 25.07.2016 to finalise the guidelines.
