Port Blair, July 14: Andaman & Nicobar Police is going to celebrate “Freedom with Responsibility” week from 8th August 2016 to 15th August 2016.
In this connection, various events such as essay, debate competition will be held on the topic “Freedom with Responsibility” by the Police Department for schools & general public. Apart from this, painting competition and patriotic song singing competition will also be organised. Further, a “Freedom with Responsibility” March will also be organised during this week. The entries for essay shall reach the office of Dy. SP (HQ), Police Headquarters, Atlanta Point on or before 30th July 2016. Entries are invited in both English and Hindi language. The essay should have approx 2000 words. The entries will be evaluated by Independent committee of Judges and the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, winners will be rewarded Rs 5000/-, 3000/-, 2000 respectively. The dates for felicitation of the winners shall be announced in due course.
