Port Blair, July 08: An unfortunate incident was reported on 03/07/2016 wherein two persons namely, (1) B. Ramesh (17 yrs.), S/o Shri. B.Neelaiah, R/o Haddo and (2) Satyanarayan Naidu (18 yrs.), S/o Late Tata Rao, R/o Anarkali expired due to drowning in Kali Kona Beach, situated at Collinpur village under Ferrargunj Tehsil.
Considering the incident to be an unfortunate one, the Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman has sanctioned a total amount of Rs. 3, 00, 000/- (Rupees Three Lakhs Only) towards immediate relief/financial assistance to the bereaved family of the victims as detailed below:-
