Port Blair, July 6: Following a complaint, fresh encroachments on government land, survey number 200/P, School line village, have been removed today, 06/07/2016 at 10.30 am, by the revenue department Eviction Team, led by SDM SA, and including revenue functionaries and police officials. Area councillor was also present. 4 Numbers of temporary hutments have been removed, where 9 people were residing.
The general public have been warned to desist from encroachment, and contact the district control room at 240127/ 230178/ 238881, incase of any such complaints, so that prompt action can be taken.
