Baratang, July 06: A HDPE floating platform started functioning at Baratang from Monday.
The jetty has been constructed by ALHW at Nilambur Vehicle Ferry Jetty, Baratang but funds are provided by Tourism Department.
With this all tourist boats are now plying from this jetty floating platform.
The HDPE floating platform came as a great relief for Tourists and boat operators as in Original jetty, heavy construction work is going on since many months, causing harassment to tourists.
These jetties are Ultra safe and Durable along with lifelong solution, with amazing Buoyancy capacity, 100% UV Resistant, Eco friendly and anti skid surface.
It has been learnt that similar HDPE floating platform will be put at Arial Bay Jetty and Smith Island Beach of Diglipur region very soon.
