Port Blair, June 28: The Met Office has forecast heavy rains between 7-11 am at isolated places of Andaman and Nicobar Islands in the next 72 hours. Under the influence of moderate to strong Southwest monsoon current, strong southwesterly wind speed between 35 and 45 kmph and generally rough seas are likely along and off A & N coasts. Fishermen have been advised to be cautious while venturing into the sea. The general public have been advised to take precautionary measures and to contact the State Control Room, District Control Room and Emergency Operation Centres in case of any emergency.
