Port Blair, June 26: The Founder of Sudhangshubala Foundation Trust, WB, Shri Bhabesh Majumder, who has started activities in A&N Islands by reaching out to the needy and disadvantaged sections of the society, has lauded the setting up of ‘Arunodaya’-Centre for Holistic Wellness-cum-Crisis Response Centre for Women, at Junglighat.
The Centre which was inaugurated by the Islands’ Lt. Governor on 21st June shall provide services of Counselors, Nutritionist and other referral services by tying up with a pool of resource agencies which can support different intervention intended through the centre for physical, emotional and mental well being.
“Arunodaya” is yet another milestone reached by the A&N Administration under the able stewardship of Lt. Governor A.K. Singh who is always there for all round development of these Islands,” said Mr. Majumder lauding the move as hugely welfare oriented. Mr Bhabesh has assured of all possible help and assistance on behalf of SBFT as and when required. “We are prepared to contribute our mite to serving the poor and the needy in the remote islands who needs us,” the SFT chief assured.
