Port Blair, June 23: The Department of Fisheries, A&N Administration is constructing a Modern Fish Market at Junglighat with the assistance of National Fisheries Development Board (NFDB). The work will be executed by APWD, A&N Administration. A detailed three dimensional layout model of the proposed Modern Fish Market as per the approved drawings/estimate is kept for display in the Fish Landing Center, Junglighat.
Views/Suggestions are invited from Fish vendors/Fisher Coop. Societies/Fisher Welfare Associations and other stakeholders on the proposed model and changes/modifications if any required to be carried out for inclusion in the revised estimate. The suggestions/views shall be submitted in writing addressed to the Asst. Director of Fisheries, Zonal Fisheries Office, South Andaman on or before 10th July – 2016 positively.
