Port Blair, May 18: Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, President, Pradesh Congress Committee and other Senior Leaders expressed their gratitude to Smt. Sonia Gandhi, Chairperson UPA as to well as Mr. Manmohan Singh, PM, Mr. P. Chidambaram, Union Home Minister, and Govt, of India for getting the ration allowance of Rs. 1690/- per month approved for the Police personnel & IRBn of Andaman & Nicobar Islands at par with Police Personnel of the Delhi Administration. “It was a very long pending demand taken up by Congress Party,” Mr. Sharma said in a press release.
