Port Blair, May 18: In the meeting ofIslandstourism festival held in the conference hall of Raj Niwas under the chairman ship of Lt Governor, Mr. R Mohan, the State President had requested the LG to involve the local Event Manager firms for providing the renowned singers and other perform artistes from mainland.
He had written several letters on this issue to the Secretary and Director IPT. Since the request of the Party has been accepted by the Lt Governor and a tender has been issued for the three-day music festival in June at Port Blair, Mohan placed his sincere gratitude to the Lt Governor.
He also requests the Lt Governor to consider such events in other islands also so that the people of other islands.
