Port Blair, June 15: The Lt Governor, Lt Gen AK Singh (Retd), has directed the Chief Secretary for a review of the implementation of citizen’s charter. He has asked the Chief Secretary to constitute a team of Director level officers headed by one Secretary level officer.
The team would interact with citizens, NGOs and Departments to see for actual, on ground compliance of citizen’s charter of various Departments. The team would also consult the Member of Parliament and other people’s representatives in this regard. He has further directed that a report in this regard be submitted by 1st July, 2016 positively, with recommendations to improve the implementation.
