Port Blair, June 12: The Indian Meteorological Department, Kolkata has forecast rain or thundershower at isolated places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands in the next 3 days. Under the influence of moderate to strong Southwest monsoon current, strong Southwesterly wind speed between 35 and 45 Kmph and generally rough seas are likely along and off Andaman & Nicobar coasts. Fishermen have been advised to be cautious while venturing into the sea. The general public have been advised to take precautionary measures and contact the State Control Room, District Control Room and Emergency Operation Centres in case of any emergency.
