Port Blair, June 12: The Lt. Governor, Lt Gen A K Singh (Retd), has wished speedy recovery of 98 years old, Mr Pratap Singh, freedom fighter from these Islands. Mr Pratap Singh has been admitted in GB Pant Hospital for orthopaedic surgery. The OSD to LG, Major Pankaj Thakur, along with his wife, met Mr Singh at GB Pant Hospital today on behalf of the Lt. Governor and inquired about his health condition and treatment being given to the freedom fighter, who is scheduled to undergo surgery on Wednesday. The Lt. Governor also spoke with Mr Singh over phone and wished him speedy-recovery and assured him all possible support from the Administration. He has also directed the Medical Superintendent of the hospital to take special care of the freedom fighter and provide the best of treatment.
