Jirkatang, June 06: A Daily Rated Mazdoor of APWD drowned at Jinga Nallah Dam of Jirgatang area.
According to sources, the deceased named Mr. Venkat Rao reached Jinga Nallah Dam for work purpose along with his co workers. While attempting to cross the Dam by swimming, Mr. Venkat had trouble in breathing and could not swim further. Finally he drowned at the lake.
Upon receiving the information, a team of Bambooflat police station along with divers reached the site, and recovered the body of Mr. Venkat. They brought the body to hospital immediately. The deceased has left behind a wife and a 5 year old son.
