Port Blair, June 02: In yet another case of fatal attack on women, one lady of Dhannikhari area has been attacked by a man of Shaitaan Khari.
According to reports the man is said to be a dejected lover of the lady, was upset as the lady (a widow) was about to get married soon.
It is learnt that the man, 35-36 years, attacked the lady with a Machete at Dhanikhari Chowk at around 7.30 PM.
It is also learnt that the accused, a married man, as well as the victim, both have kids from their marriage. The lady is said to be grievously injured and was referred to G B Pant Hospital from Manglutan Hospital this evening.
