Diglipur, 31 May: As part of the Swatch Bharat Abhiyan, N & M Andaman District Administration conducted cleaning drive at Administrative building and its surrounding area.
Revenue officials and other staff of the administrative building participated in this drive. Public also sensitized about Solid Waste Management in this area. All the non-biodegradable garbage so collected from this area was disposed off safely.
This drive was undertaken on the initiatives and overall supervision of Shri A K Trivedi, Assistant Commissioner, Diglipur. He urged the participants to continue the efforts made by them also make surrounding of their locality a garbage free sub-division.
