Port Blair, May 27: As part of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan ‘Swachhta Pakwada’, Indian Coast Guard Station Kamorta conducted various activities aimed to re-emphasise the advantages of reduced pollution levels, clean environment and to enlighten the station staff/local populous in promoting the clean India drive at Kamorta from 16- 31 May 16. In addition, the station also participated in Swatch Bharat Abhiyan conducted through civil administration /forest department to spread awareness among local populace regarding clean beaches and conservation/protection of marine environment.
