Port Blair, May 27: A new work “C/o Katcha road from Culvert to Kalatang Basti under Gram Panchayat Mannarghat” was started under MGNREGA scheme at Gram Panchayat Mannarghat, South Andaman.
It was inaugurated by Shri O. Bashir, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Mannarghat in presence of the gathered villagers, PRIs members and the official of MGNREGA on 27th day of May 2016.
The estimated cost of the aforesaid work is Rs. 1,78,932.00 and it will generate 778 numbers of person day during construction the said proposed road. After construction the road, it is benefitted to 07 family members those residing at particular place along with the workers those engaged at water pump house because a good water sources is available on the situated area and water supply is made through pumping under jurisdiction of gram panchayat Mannarghat as well as nearby panchayat areas.
