Port Blair, May 15: An eleven member delegation of South Andaman Farmers today met the Chief Secretary of A & N Administration in the issue of suitable compensation for their inundated land. The farmers made it clear that they are not willing to surrender their land against compensation. The delegation was headed by the Member of Parliament of A & N Islands, Mr. B P Ray. The Chief Secretary gave a patient hearing and assured suitable steps from his side.
