Port Blair, May 9: In continuation of previous Press release published on 02.04.2016 in the ‘Daily Telegrams’ and broadcasted through AIR for inviting claims of war victims for Japanese compensation for the loss of lives or properties during Japanese occupation of A&N Islands, claims from the victims and their descendants residing in Andaman & Nicobar Islands are hereby invited once again in writing alongwith all the details.
The grant/claim of Japanese Compensation is relating to loss or damage to the property or personal injury or death of war victims and their descendants of A&N Islands during Japanese occupation in these Islands.
The applications shall be submitted to the concerned area Tehsildar for verification. The last dated for submitting application for the claims in the office of the Tehsildar is 15.06.2016.
