Port Blair, May 08: A cargo jeep of Middle Andaman region today went off the Andaman Trunk Road near Jaypur village of Billyground region, when the driver of the Jeep lost control over the vehicle.
According to details, the vehicle was going towards Jaypur from Tugapur area of Middle Andaman and when the Jeep was about to enter Jaypur village the driver, reportedly under influence of liquor, lost control over the Jeep, which resulted in this accident.
Both the driver and the cleaner of the Jeep suffered injuries and were immediately rushed to PHC Billyground. Both of them are reportedly out of danger now. A case has been registered in this regard.
