Port Blair, May 08: One person has been arrested by Pahargaon Police today for allegedly attempting to kill another person on Saturday.
According to reports a group of friends had gone for outing on Saturday, during which they consumed liquor and under influence of liquor they had some arguments.
As per complaint, one of the person in the group, Mr. Silvester, had fallen asleep on the road because of the influence of liquor while the victim, Mr. Buddha, actually helped him to reach home, during which he scolded Silvester for such nuisance.
Out of anger the Silvester attacked the victim with a spear, when the victim went for sleeping in his home. The victim reportedly suffered two serious injuries, but he is out of danger now. Silvester has been arrested by police upon getting a complaint.
