Port Blair, April 29: The 12th Annual General Body Meeting of Andaman Association of Tour operators (AATO) was held on Thursday during which various issues regarding problems faced by tour operators and tourists were discussed. The major points discussed were shortage of boats for tourists for Neil, Havelock & Baratang and harassment to tourists in all tourist spot maintained by Forest Department which has not yet been solved despite several meetings with senior forest officials.
After the meeting, Dr. P.Vishwakannan, Director Tourism and Mr. Naresh Chander Lal were felicitated by AATO for their achievements in their respective fields. Mr M. Vinod President AATO welcomed the gathering. Mr K. Hamza Gen. Secretary (I/C) proposed the vote of thanks.
