Port Blair, Apr 28: Recently a delegation of unemployed Pharmacists led by Shri. Abhay Kumar, the National President of Indian Pharmacist Association (IPA) met the Principal Secretary (Health) in his chamber.
Filling-up of more than 25 vacant posts of Pharmacist under the Directorate of Health Services, regularization of 12 Pharmacist working under the DHS on ad-hoc basis since 2009, Recruitment of Pharmacist under the lone medical collage – ANIMERS & filling up of various other posts like Drugs Inspector & Chief Pharmacist were discussed. A reminder letter was also handed over to the Principal Secretary (Health) mentioning in details the various issues related to Pharmacists.
The Principal Secretary (Health) gave the patience hearing and assured that all the matters will be taken on priority basis.
