Port Blair, April 22: The Andaman and Nicobar Administration, along with rest of the Nation, has chalked out befitting programmes to mark the occasion of Panchayati Raj Day on April 24 to commemorate the 73rd Constitutional Amendment by launching an elaborate campaign called “Gram Uday Se Bharat Uday”. On the occasion, Ministry of Panchayati Raj is organizing National Conference of Panchayat Representatives on 24th April, at Jamshedpur. The Prime Minister of India shall inaugurate the event and address the congregation of Panchayat representatives and Gram Sabhas all over the country at 3 pm on April 24 which will be broadcast/ telecast live from Jamshedpur.
Proper arrangements have been made for listening to the address of the Prime Minister in each and every Gram Panchayat of this UT. Media and all stake-holders are requested that the message of the Prime Minister reaches every furthest point.
