Port Blair, Apr 22: A missing bike has been recovered by a police team of PS Pahargaon today following a tip off given by Andaman Sheekha, in 12 April 2016 issue.
Andaman Sheekha in its 12 April Edition had published a photograph of an abandoned bike, which has been dumped by some unknown person at Garacharma School area, ATR Road, nearly four months back. It is believed that the bike was stolen by anti-social elements and was dumped after burning all fuel.
Following the report the Police team today took the bike to PS Pahargaon and later located the owner of the bike. The owner had registered a missing report regarding the bike at PS Aberdeen in the month of December 2015.
