Port Blair, April 21: The Vice President, Athletic Federation of India, Mr Prasun Mukherjee, will visit these islands to witness the finals of Sudhangshubala Memorial Volleyball tournament to be played on April 23, 2016 at Garacharma Mini Stadium at 6 pm. Mr P Vanamali, former Chief Secretary of West Bengal and Mr PK Sarkar, former Director of SBI will also grace the occasion along with Mr Bhavesh Majumder, founder of the SB Foundation trust. A &N Police will lock horns with Trisha Brothers in the finals of the tournament while Swaraj Youth Club has already bagged the third position.
The winner team along with 1st and 2nd runner up teams will be felicitated by the chief guest. The presence of Mr Prasun Mukherjee will inspire the sportsmen of these islands to popularize sports in these islands.
