Port Blair, April 21: The NCC Cadets of Naval Wing of GSSS, Telugu Medium, Haddo conducted a mass Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in the school premises. About 200 students along with ANO, PI staff and teachers participated in the cleanliness drive and handed over the garbage collected to the municipal authorities for safe disposal. A rally was also organized on the occasion of Panchayat Diwas to sensitize students about the importance of Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan and other social schemes of the government. The Principal of the School, Mr Girish Kumar Rai motivated students and teachers to conduct such drives at regular intervals. The ANO, Mr K Ravi proposed the vote of thanks.
