Diglipur, Apr 04: A theft case occurred at Swaraj Gram Diglipur yesterday has been solved by Diglipur Police within 24 hours.
According to details, Smti Pushpa Haldar aged about 61 yrs, who was working in the farm since morning found Rs. 1,23,000/- missing from her trunk box when she returned back home in the evening hours. She also found cloths scattered all around in the room.
Soon the matter was reported to PS Diglipur. The lady revealed that a person namely Chittaranjan Mondal R/o Swaraj gram was seen roaming near her fields in the morning. The police enquired that person and recovered full amount of Rs 1,23,000 from his possession. Police arrested the person immediately and making further investigation.
