Port Blair, March 31: Two residential houses were damaged in fire accidents at Ongi Tikry, Hut Bay today at 08:30 am.
On information a team of Fire Brigade reached the spot in no time and took control over the fire. However the reason behind the fire is yet to be known. It is learnt that the house owners suffered a loss of nearly rupees 6 lakhs.
Public of the area appreciated the efforts of the Fire Brigade as they have stopped the fire from spreading to other residential houses.
