Port Blair, March 27: As many as 160 bottles of Indian-Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) was seized by the excise team of Aberdeen Police under overall supervision of Station Head Officer, Inspector Mahesh Kumar Yadav after conducting various raids at different parts of the city during the festival Holi to Easter.
The IMFL is learned to be of different brands, all together nearly five bootleggers have been arrested. The excise team of Aberdeen Police conducted raids at Mohanpura Market, Ranchi Basthi and Dairy Farm.
Mr Jai Kumar, Mr Tanvy Malai and Mr Dasrath Behra are among the five bootleggers who have been arrested in these cases.
