Port Blair, March 20: A 16 year old girl committed suicide yesterday by hanging herself in a Cashew Nut tree inside jungle area, near Calicut Junction.
As per reports, earlier, the girl was missing from her house after which the family members and the neighbours started searching for the girl.
It is learnt that later the girl was seen hanging in a Cashew Nut Tree yesterday at 5.00 PM. Pahargaon Police has registered a case of Unnatural death in this regard, it is learnt. It has been learnt that earlier a Kidnapping case was registered at PS Pahargaon when the girl could not be traced for more than 24 hours.
