Port Blair, Mar 16: A Two days workshop on ”Stress Management” was organized by the Department of Environment & Forests from 14.03.2016 at Mini Zoo, Haddo in association with Sixth Sense Resources Private Ltd. Bangalore for the Welfare of Ministerial & Executive Staffs of the department. The inaugural function was graced by Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (ANI) Shri Omkar Singh, IFS & Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (WL) Shri M.S. Negi, IFS. In his inaugural address PCCF (ANI) Shri Omkar Singh, IFS impressed that the workshop has been organized with the aim of busting stress in the staff, which would be beneficial in helping them to manage and overcome the trials and tribulations of daily life. He further advised the staff to pay heed to the tips and techniques imparted by the resource person.
The PCCF (WL), Shri M.S. Negi, IFS who was the Guest of honor of the event, lauded the resource person Dr. Abraham P. Ruby for his knowledge and experience in conducting such programs and appealed to all the participants to imbibe and appreciate the objective of conducting such programme for better deliverance and to lead a quality life.
Two days workshops programme was concluded by Shri. Naveen Kumar, IFS, DCF (WL) with positive feedback from the participants; while Shri.C.A. Majeed,ACF(WL) thanked all the participants for utilizing the opportunity.
