Campbell Bay, March 13: A helplessly drifting Yacht MS Jono of Norway, was rescued by the Coast Guard today at around 10:30 am off Great Nicobar Island. According to reports the Yacht, which was heading towards Srilanka from Phuket had developed some problems in the sail and was drifting in high sea.
According to reports, there were three men and one woman in the Yacht. It is learnt that the Yacht was brought to the Campbell Bay Port by the Coast Guard.
Andaman Sheekha also learnt that authorities of different agencies today conducted an interrogation of the people, present inside the Yacht. It is learnt that the Yacht will be brought to Port Blair tomorrow for further interrogation.
