Port Blair, Feb 17: The first public hearing of A&N UT Commission for Protection of Child Rights which was scheduled for 19th February 2016 has been postponed due to administrative reason. Now the public hearing will be held on 24th February, 2016 in its office at Twin Nicobari Cottage, Vikas Bhawan, ANIIDCO, Port Blair between 3.00 to 5.00 PM.
Case relating to Right to Education Act, Juvenile Justice Act and Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences Act child labour and other issues related to violation of child rights will be taken up during the hearing.
General public can avail the opportunity and bring forth the above mentioned issues before the Commission on the aforesaid date and time along with written documents and supportive proof if any.
