Port Blair, Feb 07: On receiving complaints and petitions about sub-standard quality work in the construction of the Dam over Kamsarat Nallah as well as allegations of leakage of water in the spillway, the Lt Governor, Lt. Gen A K Singh, PVSM, AVSM, SM, VSM (Retd.), has ordered a technical audit to be carried of the construction work of the Dam before it is inaugurated. Principal Secretary (APWD) has been asked to submit his report within a month.
