Port Blair, Jan 22: As part of the 40th Raising Day celebration, the Indian Coast Guard organized volleyball tournament recently at Diglipur. Altogether, six teams from Defence and local administration participated in the tournament. A very high standard of skill and fitness of all the team was seen during the league matches and the hard fought matches were greatly enjoyed by all the spectators. In the final match played on Jan 20, A&N Police defeated Naval Air Station Shibpur and emerged as the winner of the tournament. The winners were felicitated by Commandant J Singh, Commander Coast Guard District Headquarters (N&M), Diglipur.
