On the auspicious occasion of ‘Makar Sankranti’ and ‘Pongal’, I extend my warm greetings to the people of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Known as harvest festivals, ‘Makar Sankranti’ and ‘Pongal’ herald the advent of spring and also a period of plenty, prosperity and happiness.
Let us all come together on this joyous occasion and pray to the Almighty to bless these Islands with peace, progress and prosperity.
