Port Blair, May 03: Unnecessary delay in construction work of a culvert at Mohanpura is causing great inconvenience to general public. The work for construction of the said culvert started nearly one month back and the present speed suggests that the work may take atleast another one month to finish.
Because of this work all vehicles are force to opt for different route, which also cause inconvenience. Movement of heavy vehicle is worst hit.
According to sources the Culvert is being constructed to check water logging during heavy rain but many believe that the work should have started long back as rains have already started troubling Port Blair and if it rains continuously the work will get further delayed.
